The method · six steps · one loop

The Be the Answer Method.

The Be the Answer Method is a six-step loop for getting a business named, and described correctly, when buyers ask AI assistants for advice: measure, diagnose, act, write, keep it true, and get ready for agents. Every step ends in something a team can act on, and every number comes with its range.

Step 1 of 6 · Measure

Are we named?

We ask your buyers' real questions on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, three times each, and count every answer that names you. You get a share with its range, by buying stage and by assistant.

Step 2 of 6 · Diagnose

Why not?

Three lenses turn the numbers into a short list of problems: where others are named and you are named in fewer than half the answers, what AI says about you that is wrong, and which of your own pages to work on first. Wrong facts always go to the top.

Step 3 of 6 · Act

What do we do first?

Every source AI relies on gets exactly one action, one owner and one date. Actions are ranked by buying stage, how often the source is cited, and the risk of a wrong fact. The top ten become the month's plan.

Step 4 of 6 · Write

What do we publish?

Every page we write or review is scored on seven points before it goes live, and every listing uses approved fact lines: one plain sentence per fact, worded the same way everywhere.

Step 5 of 6 · Keep it true

Is it still right?

One approved version of your facts, each with an owner and a review date. Every quarter we check the web and AI answers against it, and fix or correct what has drifted.

Step 6 of 6 · Ready for agents

Can an agent act on it?

Assistants recommend. Agents act for the buyer: they compare, fill in forms and book. Ten checks make sure an agent can find your facts and take the next step on your site.
